However with hundreds of customers using the Wi-Fi at the same time, Decathlon required a solution to help them manage and regulate the bandwidth, as well as authenticate users.
Using WEB-SSO method, Sangfor IAM was deployed by integrating Decathlon’s existing online e-commerce website to provide authentication to all Wi-Fi users. Thanks to this, Decathlon is able to push email advertisements such as new products & promotions to its customers using Wi-Fi.
Decathlon is now also able to divide its network into two categories: employees and customers. Decathlon can log all online users activities and restrict access to illegal websites (e.g.: pornography) to ensure a proper and secure internet environment. With the advanced bandwidth management features of Sangfor IAM, Decathlon can also allocate a specific amount of bandwidth to each user to ensure a stable and fast internet speed.
